The Burlington Winter Festival is pleased to partner with the Burton
Chill Foundation. The Chill Foundation is a nonprofit organization
dedicated to providing unique and positive experiences to underserved
youth through snowboarding. Founded in 1995 by Jake and Donna Burton,
Chill takes thousands of U.S., Italian, Australian, and Austrian youth
to the slopes each year. They are provided with everything they need
to learn to ride: lift tickets, lessons, transportation, and
head-to-toe gear. Chill uses snowboarding to motivate youth to
accomplish goals they never thought they could, while teaching them
some of the most important lessons in life about patience,
persistence, responsibility, courage, respect, and pride. For more
