The Burlington Kids Afterschool Program (formerly known as CityKids) is a state licensed childcare program as well as a 21st Century learning center. The program is operated and developed in a collaborative partnership between Burlington Parks and Recreation and The Burlington School District. The program runs from the end of the school day until 5:30pm at CP Smith, JJ Flynn, Edmunds and Champlain elementary schools. Activities follow a planned curriculum and allow children to reinforce and apply what they've learned in the classroom through activities, games, projects and field trips. There is time for friends, homework, healthy snacks, and plenty of physical activity. Programming is also available on in-service days and some vacation days.

Our Mission: Burlington Kids offers Burlington youth enrichment and recreation opportunities alongside academic support in a safe, supportive environment that meets families afterschool needs.
