Lot Prices (effective November 2010): 

Several different types of lots are available for purchase at Lakeview Cemetery. 

Traditional lots for in-ground burial are available for $700 per gravesite for Burlington residents or $1200 for non-residents.  Each traditional lot will accommodate one traditional burial plus one cremation burial, or six cremation burials.

Lots in the Howard Cremation Garden are available for $350 for Burlington residents and $450 for non-residents of the city.  These small lots will accommodate one cremation burial.

Space is also available in the Lakeview Cemetery columbarium, a public, above-ground mausoleum for cremation burials.  Niches in the columbarium are available for $1000 for Burlington residents or $2000 for non-residents.  Each niche will accommodate two cremation burials.

Baby lots are available for $250 for Burlington residents or $350 for non-residents.  Each baby lot will accommodate one traditional burial or one cremation burial.

Service Charges:

A traditional burial service is $800, a cremation burial service is $400, and an interment service in the Lakeview Cemetery columbarium is $200.  Additional charges are added for services lasting past 2:30 p.m.  A tent may be set up at any service for an additional cost of $100.

Lakeview Cemetery provides winter storage of caskets.  The cost for this service is $100 for the first 30 days and $50 per month for each additional month.
